PENNANTS
 
Success for Seaforth Grade 2 Pennant team. They qualified for the 2017 State Pennant Playoffs having won the District Flag and then defeated Belrose in the Regional Playoffs. 
 
A big thank you to all supporters who made the trip to see the Ladies play and to all the well wishers for their support.

Players were Dawne Delaney, Mary Hastings, June McKeown, Jo Freeman, Peta Cass, Noreen Moore, Gera Fussell and Mel Parker. Manager was Nancy Etherington and the Reserve was Jan Keller.

 BOWLS COMPETITIONS

Congratulations to Andy Lynch, George Simon, Steve Pomeroy, and skip Peter Cole, who are our 2017 Mens Fours Champions.

The 2017 Men's Minor Pairs and Major Singles have been completed. Steve Pomeroy defeated Steve Hill to become this year's minor singles champion. Steve Hill (skip) won the 2017 Minor Pairs with partner Barry Allbon. Runners-up were Chris Moore (skip) and Keith Burton. The Major Singles, Major Pairs and Triples finals are still to be played.

See the Mixed Championships page for the following results: The Mixed Pairs (through to the Finals) and Mixed Fours Championships are in progress. The 2017 Handicap Pairs draw is now available. 2 games are to be played by each pairs team during the month of October. For the first time this year, this is a mixed bowls event.

BOWLS HAS COME BACK TO TV IN 2017

The Bowls Show’s second season has returned to SBS from Sunday, May 14, in the new time-slot of 3.00pm nationwide.

The hour-long weekly program will again be shown across 20 weeks, up until October 22, due to a four-week hiatus from July 2-23 for SBS’s broadcast of the Tour de France
